Question about Kodak Advantix C800 Zoom APS Point and Shoot Camera
I have an HP Photosmart 3200 AIO printer about 3 years old. I can print emails and pictures from HP Photosmart Essential or HP Image Zone but not anything in Word, Wordpad, or Notepad. When I try printing for example from Word, the printer sounds like it is printing but ejects a blank page. I have reloaded the printer software and checked for updated drivers but these do not correct the problem. When printing from WORD, and choosing the print option to print data only for forms, it prints but in red only
Also, when copying using the copy function on the printer and pressing the "BLACK" button under START, the page is blank. When I copy using the "COLOR button under START, it prints. When I do print an email, it prints fine except the black color is brown and faint. The ink cartridges are all well within the exp. date and I have tried several new ones.
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Had the same issue... No black ink. Called the # from "Solution #1" guest, 18004216699. Had to patiently go through all the basic trouble shooting stuff like calibration, print head clean, demo print, etc. Once I went through that, they issued me a new print head for free, no shipping charges or anything. Just did this today, but they say I should have the print head in 3 days.
For once, service worked like it should!

SOURCE: printer does not make black
Remove the black and color ink cartridges.
Right above where the black ink cartridge was, in the top left hand corner of the printhead, push up towards the ceiling and you should be able to push a button that releases the printhead.
Place the printhead right back into the printer and push straight back on the back wall.
You should hear a loud snap.
Replace the ink cartridges which should snap as well.
Close the printer.
After about a minute or so the printer will ask you to do a calibration.
Insert a paper and press start.
Scan the calibration sheet.
After that, in the menu, do a printhead clean.
Do one basic and one deep.
Print a demo sheet to see if anything has changed.
If the picture looks better, continue to do cleans.
In the event that it does not, the printhead will need to be replaced and since the printer is still under warranty, Kodak specialists will try to overnight you a printhead.
The whole process is short and free.
