Yeah, same problem. There are two capacitors that seem to be prone to going out. You can replace the main board, or (if you can solder) replace the two capacitors with slightly larger ones (radio shack mdl number 272-1030 works) just remember to bend them away from the heat sink if you go that route.

I have the same problems. I just called GE, and they said that my model pds22mfsaww does not have a main control board. Is a main control board the same as the 'motherboard'?

I had the same problem. The "motherboard" in the rear of the fridge was bad. I could see a resistor was burned on it. I replaced the board (found it online) and the problem was fixed.

GE Profile - model PDS20SBSALSS - constant clicking noise

The clicking is the compressor trying to start. If the compressor is extremely hot, try allowing it to cool. The condenser fan should run even if the compressor is out on overload; that may be the cause of the compressor failure. Check the supply to the fan and replace it if it doesn't run.If the compressor has been overheating for some time, it may be damaged and also need replacing.

refrigerators have 2 coils. the evaporator coil and the condensing coil. one is on the bottom of the fridg and one is on the back or inside behind a false panel. these coils must be kept clean or if the condensing coil cannot reject the heat absorbed by the evaporator, the box temp will stay high and if the evap coil cant absorb heat the box temp stays low running the risk of freezing

You have a bad main control board . This is located behind the refrig , behind an 8" X 10 " panel . Either the compressor module , or fan module , is burnt out . Replace this electronic board , and I'm sure the problem will be solved .

I have a ge profile gas range and the burners are making a constant clicking noise and spark. The only way to stop it is by either unplugging it or turning the power off to it

Under each gas control is a switch that will turn on the spark module when rotated to the light position. One or more of these switches has failed. Some models these switches are individually replaceable, others the switch is an assembly of all four.
