My model: 35807-4 cordless phone purchased during the last week @ Rite Aid has a problem.The LCD does not show the complete letters or numbers.Example..the A has the lest leg missing the M has the right leg missing etc.I had the same problem after a few months with the 2.4 ghz model & returned it to Rite Aid for this one.NO ONE!!! calls back usin the need help phone number on the package.The first 2.4 also had a problem .the batteries would NOT!! keep a charge & I exchanged that one also.Rir Aid has done it's jon,now I feel that you should provide me with a fix for this phone,or send me new one that is tested & works properly at no charge & I would gladly return this one if you send me an RMA with a new phone.Hopefully their is a fix for this one.

Could the "PRO" stand for Program Mode? Is there a Program button or selection under Menu in which you can shut off a Program Mode?

Yes you can buy cordless phones with transfer capabilities. We have several of them at where I work.
The unidens are some of the better phones on the market. All we have to do with them is when we receive a call is hit the talk button again and dial the number we wish to send the call to.
Any of the unidens should have this feature you could ask the salesman if you can plug them in to test.
