It works when my Monarch is installed locally on my computer and settings are the SAME. I'm on Windows. I'm using the same excel file which works with the Monarch installed locally but not on the same printer when installed on my network. Please help me. Thanks in advance.

101 : The format referenced by batch isn't in memory. (Try rebooting printer or closing/opening software)
005: Supply width is invalid. (Check your format data)

Zebra 105sl printer labels print too small

There are 3 different DPI Printheads for Zebra printers if you print a label set up for a 200 DPI Printhead on a printer with a 300 DPI Printhead installed it will be about 66% of the size.

How to print IP address

If you have an ethernet or WIFI card installed, and the printer is at the ready prompt, press both the left and right arrow buttons at the same time. As long as you have labels that are at least 2 x 2, you should see enough information on the 3rd label to tell you about the basic network setup of the printer.

Once you get the IP Address, you can then web into the print server, and by using the password of "access" without the quotes, you can then modify the network settings to a very granular level of detail.

Can we make 300 dpi Zebra 105 SL printer to print on label expecting 203 DPI, Any configuration setting?

Krishan, sorry there are no settings that will allow you to do this on the 105SL. If the printer code expecting a 203 DPI printhead and you have a 300 DPI Printer then your label will print out much smaller then normal.

If you are printing labels with a label printing package (such as Seagull Bartender for Windows) then all you need to do is to install the proper printer driver. If you have your printer attached to a system that is sending "straight" ZPL (Zebra Printing Language Code) then your out of luck.

Hope this helps

I need speedy label software for Windows XP This used to ship with paxar monarch printers. The earlier version works only on Win98 Can anyone provide me this ?

You can open up label templates in Word or other word processors. For Word, you can find these on Microsoft's website for free generally.

If you are using Avery labels, they have their own label software package custom designed for their products here: http://www.avery.com/avery/en_us/Templates-%26-Software/Software/Avery-Wizard-for-Microsoft-Office.htm

We have a 9855 Monarch barcode Printer. We are

If the printer display just shows Ready, but doesn't print, there could be a few things wrong.

1 - no data is going to the printer
2 - data is going to the printer, but it is not the printer's native language
3 - cable connectivity issues
4 - wrong cable is being used
5 - if wireless, data is not going to the correct IP

If using a 3rd party application, make sure that you've chosen the correct Monarch printer, as well as printing to the correct port. Sometime people print to LPT instead of Serial, as an example.

If using 3rd party drivers, make sure of the same thing.

To see if the printer actually works, press both of the arrows on the display, at the same time, after the printer is at the ready screen. As long as have the printer configured correctly (ribbon, supply type, etc.), the printer should print out a couple of labels.

Print alignment problem. Prints across 2 lables. not sensing the black line on back of label roll.

As it turns out, a good cleaning took care of the problem. I suspect the sensor bar was dirty so it could not detect the black line on the back of the labels for alignment.

Thanks anyway!

You did not say whether this printer is the same as your others, if it is not then you will have to get the correct software driver for this particular printer.

Press the left and right arrow keys at the same time. Printer will spit out 2 test labels. The top label tells you how many bad dots you have. Also check the checkerboard print at the bottom of labels. You will be able to see if you have any bad dots.
