Another option is to just get a new copy of windows and do a fresh install. You can get the discs but you have to pay for them from toshiba. This way you have a copy of windows that you can use on this computer, and move it to the next one when your done with this computer. Rather then proprietary recovery discs. Thanks,
Lee

I took my Toshiba Laptop Satellite L305D-S5893, Model Part No.: PSLC0U 02601P to service center, They are saying there is video chipset problem and will have to change motherboard. I would like to know...

The video chip is part of the motherboard.
FixYa does not do repairs on any equipment. You need to take it to a computer repair shop to fit a replacement motherboard, provided there is one available.
In most cases it is better to put your money towards a new and better laptop, and may be a better alternative.
You can remove the hard disk from the Toshiba and put it into an USB hard drive adapter case and use it as an external USB hard drive.

I cant make recovery for my laptop and idont have cd recovery

what type of laptop do you have? there should be a recovery partition in your C drive. You could also try contacting the manufacturer if your laptop originally came with a recovery disk.

if your computer has a toshiba recovery disc creator then you can use that program to make multiple copies of the recovery cd. you can either use dvd or cd's to save the ISO or recovery image. or check if your computer has a hidden partition for the recovery by simply holding down the "0" button upon seeing the toshiba logo.

i hope this helps you.
