Problems with my HomeLite UT20760 bogs down, no power

I'm having problems with my HomeLite TrimLite UT20760 running with any power this season. It starts OK on choke with primer pumped 8 times, and will idle fairly smoothly with the choke full open (position 3).

When I pull the accelerator trigger it bogs down or dies unless I carefully rev it up with little pumps of the trigger. Running wide open with the trigger pulled all the way there is very little power and it doesn't come up to the full rpms it used to.

Takes 45 minutes to do what I used to do in 10 minutes. HELP!

Try this
you need to locate your muffler and find screws that remove a screen behind a plate you can remove on the muffler or behind the muffler itself
This screen is a spark arrestor screen and needs to be cleaned and put back or some would say discard all together, but i didnt say that.
give it a look see
this may be your problem and maybe not?
if it was you will see a trmendous difference afterwards

Homelite trimlite weedeater ut2000413. runs but has no power. bogs down. how can i fix

fri-st check your compression should be no less than 76 pds. you can try changing your fuel, high octane only, oil mix no older than 6 mouths after opening. oil mix must be (stbulized). if this doen't work you may need a leak down test done for seal fail-er. check your muffler to make sure its not plugged. if all is good a carburetor over haul is needed. good luck

Loses power when trying to cut wood

Check the muffler screens first. Then the spark plug. If not the case, then adjust the High setting on your carb. Prolly starving for fuel under engine load. If it is still a problem, Pull the carb and clean it.
