The software that came with the camera should include a program that you can use to do some basic clean up (color shift, contrast, red-eye, etc.)  If the problems are bad you may need Adobe PhotoShop or similar but that takes some expertise to learn.  See if a local camera shop has a web site.  they may offer a service to adjust and process your digital photos.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Change Photos from Black and White to Coloured

Unless you want to colorize them by hand, there's no way to add color to black and white photos. Given a black and white photo showing a person in a gray dress, how do you know whether the dress was blue or red or some other color?

I recently took some wedding photos on my Canon Powershot SX210IS but unfortunately the date has appeared on all the photos. Is there a way that I can remove the date from the photos?

If the date is near an edge, you can use a photo-editing program to crop the picture. In some programs such as Photoshop Elements, you can actually remove the date almost like magic!

I have a samsungL100 camera. Have not used it for a while, actually since June 6, 2009, my son's wedding. I attempted to recharge the battery and have no idea whether or not the battery is charged. ...

You can use a card reader to download the wedding pics to your computer. The battery may have gone to a better place...that sometimes happens when they are left uncharged for too long.

Lost photos

how are you actually downloading to PC - if you are putting the card into the PC and copying that way - make sure you have all the sub directories selected - cameras do create multiple sub-directories
it may also be able t recovery the files OFF the memory card, even after deleting and erasing have a look at this software "digital image recovery" its free software http://www.z-a-recovery.com/

I took some very important photos at my best friends wedding on the weekend and i just tried to put them on the computer and the camera screen said "card not initialized" the pohotos were there...

Very bad situation indeed, hold on there maybe some chance.

take out the card and put it in external card reader. Can your computer read it?

If no, then get hold of some file recovery software like 'GetDataBack for FAT32' (buy/borrow/steal :) ) install it on your computer, GetDataBack should be able to pull back the data.

Let me know if any more clarifications needed.

I have a Pentax Optio M10, I was asked if I wanted to reset the camera and once I did all of the pictures were erased.

Belatedly I've learned that it pays to take a digital photography course when you own an M10. It's a great camera but it expects a lot of you and the manual is hard to comprehend. When you reset the camera, you erase the entire photo memory -- you should only use it when you want to clear out the memory.
IF you have vital photos there that you want to retrieve (like wedding picture), you can take your photo card to a photo store and for (I'm told) $100 to $150 they can possibly retrieve your pix. My instructor said there also may be some free recovery software out there online, although he didn't give any specifics. Good luck!

Took pictures with CF Card

I think your SON has told a bit of a lie unless the camera has modified filmwhere in which the photos are saved to the buffer. THough I would dought this is possible as buffers normal are cleared as soon as power goes off. Saving to the buffer would also allow you to store up to 8 photos.

Such a modification may create other proublems, as such I would go to canon and download the latest filmwhere straight away.
