Question about Maytag Neptune Washer

Growing Mold Is there anyway to get the mold issue to stop growing on the seal of my WAH3000AWW? It had an upgrade seal put in it in 2006 and it still grows mold. I have even bleached and cleaned it totaly but the mold still comes back. Is Maytag man sitting down on his stool still? Did they fix this issue again that I have no idea about? Please help, mold is not good!

How can I know if there is mold growing my air ducts and filters?

If you or your family have been getting sick and there are no real outside signs from where the sickness is coming from, it is possible that you have mold in your air ducts. If you live in a humid climate you will have higher chances of having mold growing in the air ducts. To check you should call in a professional to make sure.

Black mold growing inside of the fridge

Scrub scrub scrub with a mild bleach solution, and then keep a couple of open boxed of Baking Soda inside, changing them frequently.

Inspect your door seals, I bet you will find a rip, tear or some other leak which is allowing warm, moist air into the fridge and encouraging the mold growth.

Also consider setting the temperature much colder to inhibit the mold growth.

Although there are many mold-killing solutions on the shelf at the hardware store, a good old fashioned mild Bleach solution is your best bet, as it is acceptable for use around food.

Why am I getting mold on my ref seals

There could be a few reasons....
Poor seals, causing water vapors to condense around the leakage, combined with mold spores being present in the home.
Usually where the seal connect on the fridge, the area is kinda of warm, so adding water and spores causing an ideal growing location.

Where the fridge is common traffic way in a home, it is also prone to bacterial and fungal collection.

Black stains on door

If it is inside, it is probably mold growing. Front loaders are much more susceptible to mold growth as they seal up tighter, and we all tend to keep the door closed when it is not in use.
Clean the inner door and bellows surfaces with a 50/50 bleach/water solution, applying liberally, and dump the rest into the tub of the washer. Add 1 more cup of bleach to the tub. Fill all of the dispenser cups with bleach. Run the hottest , longest cycle available with the hottest rinse cycle available. For us, it is the "sanitary" cycle. Run a normal cycle immediately thereafter to flush out residual bleach, and leave the door open. The cleaning along with the air drying will keep the mold from growing, and reduce the odors that these machines are famous for. Leave the door open between loads.

Best regards, --W/D--

Foul odor on dishes and in dishwasher after cycle

It is very likely that your dishwasher is growing mold, in this condition. If it is causing your dishes the same issue, it may be wisest to obtain a dishwasher cleanser(Several detergent manufacturers now sell dishwasher cleaning items), which will hopefully kill off any mold colonies growing in your dishwasher's blades, and in your drain cap.

We purchased a Tromm Model#WM2233HW S/N MOLD growing in the rubbe

put 2 cups of bleach into the washing machine and run a cycle with HOT water (long cycle) Steam if possible. This should kill the mold...with a front loading machine you MUST use HE Detergent, and LEAVE THE DOOR OPEN AFTER THE LOAD IS DONE!!!!!!! the seal needs to dry, just like your shower curtain needs to dry. You should also wipe your seal with a dry towel after each load. It does state this in the owners manual, as well as the laminated sheet with the suction cup that came with the machine...

Dishwasher has mold growing in it. Anybody know why this is or how to stop it from doing this?

If you can remove some of the mold do so,then goto home depot, lowes, supermarket and find c.l.r. (calcium lime rust) remover.Pour 2 cups in the tank with no dishes and run the longest cycle. After that do this once a week until its gone than once a month thereafter any questions let me know.
