Question about Microsoft Windows XP Professional With Servise Pack 2 (e8503040) for PC
I recently took over management at an apartment complex. The take over was a hostile one and the previous manager locked us out of the onsite computers to make it more difficult. He was very successful in this...lol. How can I bypass the password. I am using xp 2002.
Download the Offline NT Password Recovery & Registry Editor tool from this site http://home.eunet.no/pnordahl/ntpasswd// It is an ISO image that you will need to burn to a CD. This will create a bootable disk that you will use to bypass Windows security (by booting up a copy of linux) and it will allow you to erase the administrator password. Do not try to just change the password since it does not always work properly. Just select the option to blank out the password. When done, make sure you select the option to write the registry to the hard disk otherwise it will not actually change the password.
MAKE SURE YOU COMPLETELY READ ALL OF THE DIRECTIONS FOR ITS USE. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN IRRETRIEVABLY CORRUPT THE SYSTEM.
