Light flashes engine stutters and dies while driving

alternator may be dead and you are running on battery reserves

check that alternator for free at a local autozone , advance auto parts, while still on the vehicle

or if you have a multimeter, set it to volts and see if the output is above 14V when your engine is running

Where is voltage regulator

You don't say what kind of welding you had done or where but I can tell you that if it was a MIG welder or an ARC welder and they didn't take the appropriate precautions this could very well messed your car up and ruined the ECU.Your alternator should be charging from 13.2 to 14 volts.Check the ground on the battery to make sure you have a good circuit. The fact that the car will start is a good thing.I would go looking for a bad connection or wire controlling the gauges. The voltage regulator is in the alternator,it controls volts output. I'm jumping around here a bit but I empathize with you in a big way.Go back and double check everything. There must be a fuse to the instrument cluster,or perhaps a bad wire. good luck

Battery keeps going dead

24 volts is way to high, the battery should be 12 volts, the alternator should put out 13 volts up to 15.5 volts, if the alternator belt is excessively loose, it wont charge properly, if the belt is tight check the alternator output, (you can ck it at the battery) make sure the output is a minium of 13 should be not less when reving the engine up a little the voltage should increase, but not above 15.5 volts

Probably your machines just overloaded; the engine will run and produce voltage but no weld output.
Check your fuses F1 and F2, if they are open replace them.
Both fuses are located at left hand side of machine, open it and you will find them on the bracket.

Good Luck.

My new Miller Bobcat has low amperage on 120 volt outlet.

Increase your idle setting on the 1/8" threaded rod protruding to the left of the carburetor until V= 125. Then run your drill. Actuating the drill should call the throttle solenoid to open up to produce more power.

Hobart 140 voltage drop when welding in all setting using 30 wire and uni mix gas will start out welding good then will not ?????

Check your input line voltage. 115 volt Mig welders / plasma cutters need stable voltage / current. Test to see if the voltage drops to below 100 volts when welding. If so, find a more stable power supply.
