Can you feel it is getting hot? Because these work by boiling water they can fail due to limescale fouling moving parts. Always try descaling, you will need to get the solution in behind the press button.
i believe your hot water/steam hose/tube runs through the middle of the handle down to the floor(where it sprays hot water/steam. it ether came apart on the inside or you have a hole in it.
The problem with the DD steam mop is not getting steam out but trying to get it to keep coming out. If U disassemble the plastic housing around the handle U will see a small part connected to 2 hoses, one going to the water reservoir the other going to the heating unit. This is the pump which provides water to the heating unit, and if this fails U won't get steam. U can try disassembling this and try to get the piston to move more freely. A loud clicking sound coming from this should indicate good movement and a feeble click click click may indicate restricted movement.
Hope this helps
We had the same problem but discovered it was because the steam hose had come adrift from it's fitting inside the handle. Dismantling the handle, re-attach the hose, re-assemble the handle and use some tie grips to hold the very poor design together and the problem was solved.

Have the model number, the country it was made in and the date it was
made. All found on sticker on bottom of unit. They are foreigners that
answer the phone, so be prepared to spell everything. It takes 3 weeks
to get the parts but I found them to be inexpensive.
There is usually a heat sensitive fuse link installed in the handle and is incorporated in the cord connection. If the machine gets too hot or is run while dry, the fuse can blow. You would have to replace the fuse, as they are not resetable.
