Question about Canon FAX-L400 All-In-One Laser Printer
Hi - This fax machine had a paper jam. The world and his dog decided to poke around to get the paper out. The jam has been cleared but every page has an inch wide jagged line down the page. Looking in the left hand cover, there's a grey film and this is missing about an inch in the same place as the fault on the paper. I'm assuming that this is part of the fuser unit. The question is how do I get at it to replace it. I don't really want to go removing screws haphazardly, so some sort of plan of campaign would be good. I have used a screwdriver before and even a hammer on occasions.
Hope you can help - cannot seem to find a service manual anywhere.
Fixing Films are a real pain to replace....I would recomend having a qualified service tech perform this repair.
