Your panel needs replaced. Half a picture, top to bottom, provides a quick diagnostic. You panel has a Timing Control (T-Con) board failure. Watch out for part cost, it may be cheaper to replace the TV rather than repair it. I hope this helps.
Your color convergence is out of adjustment. You can adjust yourself with a service manual telling you how, or take it to service shop and pay about $400.
Unfortunately, what you're describing is a repair
issue. You won't be able to address the problem with troubleshooting.
There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If you're
under warranty, this will cost you nothing. If you're not under
warranty the cost will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor.
However, be warned that the cost could be considerably higher.

very possible unit has bad optical engine .May not be worth repairing.Optical engine is complete unit that includes lamp,LCD panels, fans, optics and other parts. They come complete and cost about 3-6 hundred dollars ..thanks
red verticle lines are most likely a bad tube or convergence problem. You will not be able to fix this your self . I suspect a bad convergence ic cost for parts are around 45.00 servicer charge about 250 to fix. At least know when you call a servicer you will have
a good understanding of problem.good luck.
Check within you area for a reliable LG repair center. To fix the problem of the blue, red or green vertical line you just need to replace the control board PN 6871QCH038C. The part cost about $150.00 and a honest repair center should not beat you up to bad on the labor. Good luck and Good viewing.
