Depending on the particulars of printer cartridge technologies, you may have a faulty cartridge, or there is a paper jam, also try powering the printer off, then unplugging it for 1 minute, then re-power the device and see waht happens. If all else fails, it's cheaper to buy a new printer / all in one solution than having a controller chip repaired. Current inkjet printers are in the range of $65 - $150 depending on format, and functions. labor, and parts will more than likely cost you more that a new inkjet printer if you have it repaired.

Check this PDF for more detailed information about your printer, espectially check out the " Checking the control panel lights " under " troubleshooting"

I am refilling the black ink of my canon printer using continuous ink container but the black color doesn't flow into the end of the hose and it didn't print at all, please help

  • Check the printer's power/alarm light. If it is flashing orange, count the number of flashes. Look up the flash code in your printer's user manual to diagnose the problem.
  • 2 Remove and reinstall the ink cartridges if the power/alarm light flashes 5, 7 or 15 times consecutively. This indicates that the issue is a cartridge error, an incorrectly installed cartridge, or an unrecognized cartridge. These errors can be fixed by reinstalling the ink cartridges. Make sure that you are using the correct ink cartridges for your Canon printer.

  • Turn on the printer and open the front cover. The ink cartridge holder should move to the replacement position.
  • 4 Verify that the colored ink cartridge is inserted in the slot on the right and the black ink cartridge is inserted in the slot on the left. Swap the cartridges and reinstall them in the correct slots if necessary.
  • 5 Check to see that both ink cartridges are level with one other and parallel to the top of the ink cartridge holder. If either cartridge is wedged at an angle, gently apply pressure to the cartridge until it clicks into the correct position.
  • 6 Close the front cover of your Canon printer and wait while the printer initializes the newly installed cartridges. This can take a minute or two.

How do I change the ink on the Epson Stylus TX300? Thanks.

    Hi,

    Just follow the following steps:

    #1
The printer should be turned on and not printing. Refer to control panel to see which cartridge is empty.
    #2
Hit the printer "Menu" button until you get to "Change Cartridge." At this point, hit "Color Copy" to move the cartridges into proper replacement alignment.
    #3
Open the top of the printer and pull open the tab for the ink cartridge you are replacing. The black cartridge can be found to the left, while the color cartridge is on the right.
    #4
    Pull the cartridge out.
    #5
Get the new cartridge ready to install. Before putting it in, pull off the yellow tape on the bottom.
    #6
Push the cartridge into the appropriate slot, and click the tab securely shut.
    #7
Close the top of the printer until it clicks securely.
    #8
Wait 30 seconds or so for the ink to initiate. The on button will flash during the process and then stop flashing and stay lit when it's done.

    Thanks
