Re: how to load game on psp

You need a custom firmware on your psp, google it and you can figure it out. but in order to make that into a iso/cso file you need a program called umdgen. then copy those two things into the window and hit save as and itll compress it into a iso/cso. deoends on what you click, then go to the iso folder on your memory stick and place it there

Re: how to load game on psp

In order to use these I think you have to have had your PSP cracked. once your PSP has been cracked you would just need to transfer the files to a memory card (or similar) to play the game.

How to put games to my psp.

First, download the emulater for the type of rom (Game) you have. then download the Kxploit tool(get them both at unzip the emulator and start up the Kxploit tool, it will ask for the file name in the first column, just give it any name. then it will ask for the EBOOT.PBP file directory. tell the proggy where the EBOOT>PBP file is(where you unzipped it) then it will ask where is you PSP (connect your PSP via USB and go to my computer and see what drive letter says the psp) then go back to the Kxploit and select the letter. then click Generate and then you will get a pop up window telling you it worked. now go to my computer and go to X/PSP/GAME/EMULATOR U CHOSE, then place the rom(s) next to the EBOOT>PBP file and your all set, just ignore the SECOND EMULATOR U CHOSE%, and if you find a curropted data when running the emu, ignore it DO NOT DELETE IT>

how to transfer a downloaded game to s psp from pc...

sometimes when we download games from internet, how can we put the downloaded games to PSP on PC? (Note: You must have a hacked PSP to do this.)

1.Connect your hacked PSP to your computer with a USB cable.
2.Turn on the PSP.
3.After detecting your PSP as a hard disk, open the disk to read your memory stick. Find the "ISO" folder in it (any hacked PSP has a ISO folder at the root of the memory stick). If not make a new folder named ISO.
Put the game with postfix .ISO or .CSO on the "ISO" folder. (If you download a rar file or zip file, you should extract the file then select the ISO or CSO file.)

5.Disconnect the PSP and PC(click on safely remove hardware before disconnecting for safety). Turn Off the PSP completely. Turn the PSP back on holding down the R key. On the Red menu, go to Configuration and change UMD mode to M33 Driver - NO UMD. Click Back and Exit the Red Menu. You can now run the game without a UMD in the back. Find the game and try to run it on PSP.
6.If you can't open the game, make sure you put the right file on the right folder

simple tips...
  • You can also put movies from dvd to psp with the same way, but don't forget put the movie to the "Video" folder. The same goes for music.
  • Look for games to download online such as off of PSPshare or other websites.

Things You'll Need
  • PSP
  • USB Cable
  • Computer
  • Enough memory required for the game

if you think that this help you please rate me..

Latest CFWEnabler : 05/07/2009

- Fixed a bug when playing within Infraestructure
- New system version
- Improved the Pops flashing system
- New update server.

Just copy the CFWEnabler folder into /PSP/GAME , then go to Games and run the installer

Firstly, you CANNOT do this unless you hava a PSP with Version =<5.03 . To check your PSP FW go to Settings-> SystemSettings-> System Information . If the version is 5.03 , skip thispart and follow the guide below to install ChickHEN . If you have alower version follow this GUIDE in order to install OFW 5.03 .

-Download 5.03 OFW (
-Connect your PSP to your PC via USB and create a folder in PSP/GAME named UPDATE.
-Copy the .EBOOT file in PSP/GAME/UPDATE.
-Run the update from your PSP .
Now you should have a 5.03 OFW PSP , just what you need in order to load the Tiff Exploit.

Some useful tips for those who can't get the ChickHEN to work :

-Restore Default Settings
-Set UMD Auto Start and Cache OFF.
-Make sure you're on 5.03 OFW
-Format Memory Stick. ( this will erase all the data from your MSso you'd better backup your files on your PC before doing it )

-Try another method as this video shows :
-Don't give up , just try and be patient.

Note that the files needed for PSP 2000 and 3000 series are different than the ones needed for PSP 1000 so don't screw it up.

Note that the files needed for PSP 2000 and 3000 series are different than the ones needed for PSP 1000 so don't screw it up.

FOR PSP SLIM ( 2000 & 3000 ) :

-Download ChickHEN R2 Easy to Load

FOR CLASSIC PSP ( 1000 ) :

-Download ChickHEN R2 Easy to load

-Copy h.bin to the Memory Stick ROOT .
-Copy ChickHEN folder to PSP/PHOTO ( create one if needed )
-Navigate to your PHOTOS folder , and enter the ChickHEN folder. And wait, you will see some images, these will start to loadthumbnails.Go all the way down to the last image. Your PSP may freezeand reset. Just keep retrying and ChickHEN R2 will load up….But if yousee flashing colors, your PSP will reboot loading the ChickHEN.

For those who can't load the ChickHEN files check above for useful tips and remember to restore default settings.

Check your PSP's version to make sure. If the version is somethinglike 5.03 ChickHEN R2 you should be fine and ready to install CFW.

Do NOT try this on any PSP 3000 or PSP 2000 unhackable mobo's this is only for PSP Phat and 2000 hackable series.
This will permanently install CFW onto your PSP
ChickHEN must be enabled.

-Download Recovery Flasher 1.60
-Download 5.0 OFW
( -direct download
-Copy the Recovery folder to PSP/GAME .
-Also copy the 5.0 official update renamed as 500.pbp to PSP/GAME/RECOVERY folder .
-Go to GAME and run the program and install 5.0 M33-6 !

In the end , press SELECT while in XMB and change UMD Iso Mode to''M33 Driver'' or ''Sony NP9660''. I also recommend formatting memorystick. Place your CSO/ISO games to the ISO folder on your memory stickroot.

Cannot load umd games

If you have custom firmware, make sure your "execute boot.bin" and "plain modules" are both disabled under your advanced configuration settings of the recovery menu. Also, make sure your ISO/CSO games are saved in the ISO Folder of your memory stick and that your UMD MODE is set to NO UMD REQUIRED. Your PBP Games should be saved in your PSP/GAME Folder.

(on youtube dont believe the other video that represents without a pic of the site)
on one day i downloaded gta liberty city stories compressed in a rar file and i extract it, but the file wouldn't extract,
then i used to hack the file, and then the file extracted and i copied it,so it wont disappears when i close the rar file, and then i put it in the psp...
the logo appears, the sounds are ok...
in the loading part of the game it displays "Error reading umd"
so i cant play,if even i restart the game, It displays again and again...
and if you found a site, ensure that the site is virus free...

PSP saving game

First to have games on your psp you have to have a program on your psp called umd dumper. you can find it on google by typing umd dumper and clicking on the first choice that comes up and then dowloading it.( before you continue here you must make sure your psp is downgraded, atleast vesion 3.11 or lower thats what i have. go to the file where you saved your download, double click and extract all the files from it. now connect your psp to your computer. now go to your downloaded folder and find two folder called umd dumper %%%%, copy and paste those to files on your psp that is still connected to your computer on a file called psp. now diconnect your psp and go to your game section on your psp and click on memorystick you might find two folders, umd dumper and corrupter file or just umd dumper, dont pay attention to the corrupted file. put a game in your psp and click the umd dumper, it will automatically start extracting files from your umd and put it on your memory stick ( make sure you have enough space on your memory stick depending on the game) after its done now connect the psp back to the computer and this time you will notice a new file with a umd picture on your folder, drag the umd folder and drop it in a folder called ISO, if you dont have a folder called ISO look on the internet on how you can get on on your psp. now when you are done diconnect it and go to your games section and on your memory stick you will have the game you just extracted. click on it and enjoy your game onyour memory stick..( if this information is not accurate enough you can go to, and type umd dumper and watch some of the videos on there one of them might give you a better understanding)

You Cannot The PSP requires a file on the UMD to boot up. This is also another reason why you cant play them from a memory card. PSP games are in ISO format and require the UMD boot file.
