Question about Car Audio & Video

1 Answer

Radio problem my ford ka radio suddenly went so loud it was unbearable, I couldn't turn it down or off. Only way was to turn engine off and when turning back on I had to hold the volume button in constantly, which makes it hard to steer, and change gear with the right hand so I have had to have it disconnected as no one seems to know what the cause is any idea please??

Radio

Sounds like the head unit is bad on your audio system. You would need to replace the entire unit. I'd recommend an aftermarket stereo instead of another Ford stereo.

Stereo stopped working along with speedometer

It's probably not a fuse. It sounds like your vehicle speed sensor went bad in the transmission. The reason your radio stopped working was because your radio is probably equipped with speed sensitive volume and it requires a speed signal to work.
