Question about Lexmark C510 Laser Printer
I have moved my office printer (Lexmark c510 / connected via internal network to my laptop) to my home office ( direct connection between the printer and the same laptop). Now once turing the power on and connecting the laptop the printer shows in its display "Invalid Engine Code" that stays on the display. Does not react to any buttons.. Drivers are reloaded into the laptop and the pc identifies the printer but the printer is constantly in the "invalid Engin..." mode. How to get the printer working again ??
Reset the printer engine code.
You can falsh the printer with the USB flash utility form lexmark and reporgram the engine code.
The code is available for download at the lexmark website.
