If the screen displays an image it is the right screen. The video card, in this case an nvidia geforce 9300, might be defective in which case it would need to be fixed by dell. But it sounds like it could just be an issue with getting the right drivers. The drivers can be found here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-win7-winvista-270.61-whql-driver.html for 32bit windows vista,
and here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/notebook-win7-winvista-64bit-270.61-whql-driver.html for 64bit versions of vista.
If you aren't sure if you have a 32 or 64-bit version you can find out by right clicking on "my computer" and going to properties. It will be listed under system type.
Did you install the drivers using the disc it came with? Did you unistall the old driver first? Is your bios configured to use pci video instead of integrated (onboard) video?
try to right on it and choose unistall then restart the system to auto reinstall the said driver..maybe it needs only to update the driver that is why there is a bang on it
It might be a problem with the drivers for the bluetooth you can get the drivers for the bluetooth in the following link,.... http://shrvl.com/310GR
First you need to unistall the bluetooth drivers from the device manager.. The driver will be shown as the bluetooth driver.. Please unistall and reinstall it.. The issue will be fixed...
go to windows add or remove programms then click change winows components . then a box will apppear then mark internet explorer in that winow and click next to unistall it
First of all see if your computer has the requirements for your new video card.
Be sure to unistall all video software before to procedeed to install the new one Probably you need more memory.
crashes, as in locks up? What kind of video memory or card you have? And, how do you have it optimized(faster performance, most likely)? This takes a bit of 'tweaking' to get just right. got backup for your HP?
