Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
we have a few solutions
first lets check do you have the recover cd/dvd that came with the laptop? if not do you have a windows installation cd or dvd?
if you have one or the other you can use it to fix the computer by either restoring it to the originals or by installing windows again.
if you don't have either we can try fixing it. when you start up the computer before the windows loading screen come but after the initial text on black. keep tapping on f8 untill the advanced start up options come to your screen picture below:
Select safe mode or safe mode with networking and try staring up the computer.
try signing in, if it fails try again but instead of using your username use the Administrator username (may be diffrent on diffrent languages of windows versions) and try signing in.
if you still can't sign in to the computer. you have to get either a windows installation cd or a recovery cd that is ment for your laptop. Or you can take the laptop to a local professional who has the discs and can fix up your computer. you could fix it yourself if you just had the cd/dvd.
If you are able to sign in to the computer in safe mode, then press start- then run, then type in it msconfig
on msconfig see the start up page click on it
look for the button that says disable all. click on it. apply ok and close the window try to restart the computer normally and see if you can sign in. if you still can't sign in then theres still a problem and you need to get back into the safe mode double check that there is noting on the start up page of msconfig.
drop me a comment if after you have done all these steps the computer is still not working.

Please run system restore to an early date and reinstall programme while other programmes are not running.
You might even need a lot of patience while rebooting the system and be sure you dont have another antivirus programme running wherein a clash in operation is possible.
Good luck dear.
Dont forget to rate this solution plear.
