I am using Microsoft Outlook 2003 (11.6359.6568) SP1 And I have setup my signature in Franklin Gothic Medium font, with not logo or graphics attached. Here's the problem. Often times I like to reply to someone's email and while composing my reply I strip out the bottom few lines of my signature (because I like to simplify the message). When I strip out those bottom couple of lines, the remaining lines of my signature just above immediately change to a different font! Can you help me avoid this annoying quirk? George

Not sure why that happens. Try adding another blank line before the signature. If you use a different signature often, you should create another signature and insert that into the messages you want with the different information. You can have multiple signatures loaded.

Create email signature


  1. From the main Microsoft Outlook window, on the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Mail Format tab.
  2. In the Compose in this message format list, click the message format that you want to use the signature with.
  3. Under Signature, click Signatures, and then click New.
  4. In the Enter a name for your new signature box, enter a name.
  5. Under Choose how to create your signature, select the option you want.
  6. Click Next.
  7. In the Signature text box, type the text you want to include in the signature.
You can also paste text to this box from another document.
  1. To change the paragraph or font format, select the text, click Font or Paragraph, and then select the options you want. These options are not available if you use plain text as your message format.
  2. To add an electronic business card - vCard - to the signature, under vCard options, select a vCard from the list, or click New vCard from Contact.

How change outlook font size?


Change the default font style for new messages that you compose
  1. Click the File tab.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Click Mail.
  4. Under Compose messages, click Stationery and Fonts.
  5. On the Personal Stationery tab, under New mail messages, click Font.
  6. On the Font tab, under Font, click the font that you want to use for all new messages.
  7. If you want, select a font style and size.
  8. Click OK on the Font, the Signatures and Stationery, and the Outlook Options dialog boxes.
When you create a message, the new settings take effect.

Change the default font style for messages that you reply to or forward
  1. Click the File tab.
  2. Click Options.

How to use my company logo on my emails


if you use Microsoft Outlook, you can try this :
- Tools -> Options
- Select "Mail Format" tab -> click "signatures"

on this step you can insert your company logo.

How do I change the font size when I print off of emails?


This may depend on your email client, but here is assuming you're using Outlook Express:
How to Set the Smallest Font Size in Outlook Express loadTOCNode(2, 'resolution');
  1. Start Outlook Express.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. On the Read tab, click Fonts.
  4. In the Font size box, click Smallest, click OK, and then click OK.
  5. Exit Outlook Express.
How to Set the Medium Font Size in Outlook Express loadTOCNode(2, 'resolution');
  1. Start Outlook Express.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. On the Read tab, click Fonts.

Problem with Outlook 2003 signature


The best way to use logo's in your emails is to add a link to the company logo via your website if you reference it through html code it will work fine.

Create personal signature and save as file


If you are talking about using Outlook as your email client, then here is the directions for creating a signature.




Create a signature for messages
If Microsoft Word is your e-mail editor, see Word Help. Word offers the most customization options for signatures.
