Question about Canon PIXMA iP4200 InkJet Photo Printer

I have uninstalled and need to reinstall off the web..what do I do?

I have uninstalled my printer, and cannot find what I must do to reinstall and cannot find my disc that came with it. I was having problems printing off the web, and my techy guy, who is away< told me to uninstall and now I cannot do anything. I cannot upload either when I get to a driver..the uploading process just "goes away". Hope you canhelp me

    Windows XP.. thanks wOlfm4n.. No I have not clicked add hardware, as I am clueless.. Where do I do that? I m afraid I need a spep by step method form the very beginning..and I think this whole printer problem started with being unable to print form web-pages I am using..and not being able to uplaod photo's and many web applications just "going away when I hit the downlaod button. So I uninstalled my printer and now dont know what to do to get it back

    Upload pics or vids onto my pages- blogs..facebook... or downlaod drivers..but now I just plugged in the printer and its looking.for all teh software..willlet you know here what happens..and thanks for all up to now W xxx

    No problem. Just hope it works. But, if I was there, I would also run a malware scan on the pc. I don't like things that just 'go away' lol Do you have any anti- virus/ spyware malware on ur scanners on the pc?

    Ok. go to your control panel (do you know how to get there?), and click on the 'add hardware' icon and follow what it tells you. Make sure your printer is turned on and plugged in.

Thanks for your assistance, However, the problem is my whole computer and I will wait for my techy to get back to me in person on Monday-this is too big for me. Thanks for your time and effort.

My printer doesnt work properly,as like not connected

Remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and connect the Printer to be detected and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.
Use head cleaning before a test is taken . It is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the command , can be an issue with ink drying , can
also be poor ink cartridge contacts.

If not check the drivers , select from the web and reinstall the upgraded software

After reinstalling software I get this error messages everytime I try to print. "Color table is missing. You must uninstall and reinstall the printer software." Have reinstalled about 10 times now with...

When on the net with a hp laptop my hp printer will not print web pages but instead prints what looks like the dos system that makes up the web page

get the installation disc out and ready OR download the drivers and software from HP's suppoert website that are correct for your operating system..
1-uninstall the printer software in add/remove programs via the controll panel.
2-uninstall the printer from "printers and faxes" in the controll panel
3- reinstall the drivers and software from cd or downlaod..

Cant use Easy Web Print on Pixma MP130. Freezes everything up and have to reboot

Unplug printer USB,
Uninstall Easy web printer.
Uninstall printer from control panel/installed printers.
Reinstall printer drivers
Plug back printer USB when asked from driver setup.
Install back Easy web printer.

Aside from removing or uninstalling it from the Control Panel
Run also this software from the web, this is the clear Utility software from Kodak, it will clear all the previous install.

Then try reinstalling it from the web at this site

I cannot connect the hp psc 2175 to my computer

Check your usb cable works fine.
check your computer usb ports are works fine.
Try with usb prots 1 by 1.
Also uninstall driver then reinstall.

Go to Control panel>>Add-Remove Software andn chose the software that you want uninstall.

Not quite sure what you mean when you say, "will not print froma web page intermittently". Do you mean it sometimes doesn't print a web page at all or that the print out isn't what you want? Also, there is an additional issue if you are using Microsoft Windows Vista (as opposed to another Windows operating system).

Connection problem

Check and make sure that all of the cables are firmly connected including the printer's power cable and the cable that connects the printer and your computer. Cables can seem connected but occasionally, they can work their way loose just enough to interrupt the contact.

Check the cables to make sure they aren't damaged. It's pretty common for a cable to become damaged if a chair with wheels has rolled over it a time or two. That would be enough to interrupt the connection between the computer and the printer. If it looks like you have a damaged cable, you'll have to replace it.

If the cables are well connected and undamaged and the printer is turned on, try rebooting the computer, then see if it will recognize the printer.

If those steps don't work, you'll probably need to uninstall and reinstall the printer software and drivers. It would be ideal if you had the original CD with the printer software on it, but those disks usually get lost over time.

If you don't have the original software disk, you can download the necessary software from HP's site:

Printer will only print html no pictures from the internet

If you are using Internet Explorer 6, you would need to download and install the Epson Web-To-Page Utility for you to be able to successfuly print from the Internet. Otherwise, you might to give Adobe a call just to properly uninstall the Adobe software (clean uninstallation) just to isolate the issue, if uninstalling and reinstalling the Adobe software and Epson printer driver doesn't help this maybe a case wherein you need to contact Microsoft or Apple since its considered an OS Issue.
