Pentair Minimax Nt heater wont turn on and heat,

I have a Pentair Minimax NT heater and everytime I try to turn it on, it will read "err" and the service light will turn on. I have powered off the unit and turned it back on and that fixed the problem once and it was fine for about a week but that quick fix is not working anymore. why is it not kicking out heat and reading "err" my heater will not light , eff show up!!I try turn the elec off ,still show up eff. Can you help, Mariomazza

Bad thermistor. The yellow wire that plugs into the control board. Lick finger and touch prongs. Heater should come on

I have a Pentair MiniMax NT. I am getting ERR on the display but I can't seem to get the door open. I have tried turning the single screw that locks the left and right door but it won't unlock.

sometimes the door is just stuck. try pulling the door as you turn the locking screw. sometimes you need to use a flat head screw driver to help the door open as you turn the screw back and forth

Minimax NT Heater: Heater wont light Err error code. Reset and nothin...

You should try changing out the thermistor first. That is the likely culprit. Not too bad of a repair. The main pcb could also cause this, but i would r and r the thermistor first. HTH

Pentair Minimax NT 400 heater. fan keeps coming

Sounds like the controller is the problem. This is the circuit board that has the display and controls on it. You can swing that panel open and try tapping on the white plastic cover the controller is under that. This might get the fan relay to release but you will have to replace the controller it will stick again
