Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3 Full Version OEM for PC
This is something you will need to hash out with Microsoft. If you can prove to them that you have a legitimate copy of XP, they will issue you another product key for you to use and help you activate it. Otherwise, you will need to purchase another key.

The Solution is simple, Just purchase the licensed version of windows, otherwise you will be committing the crime of SW piracy.
Temporarily you can get rid of the message, just uninstalling the Genuine verification patch from control panel.

Here is the Microsoft home page for Genuine windows, with links to report piracy, how to tell if your software is genuine, etc. Here is the support site to make sure you don't have some other issue.
Unfortunately, if you've purchased counterfeit software, you are best advised to replace it with a legitimate copy that can be updated, etc. and not to continue using the counterfeit.
Back up your data and essentail files to an external source. Format the hard drive and then do a clean install of the legitimate OS.
I don't know if you're system is up to it, but I've heard some pretty good things about windows 7, due out for final release in October, and maybe you should consider upgrading...
See the site here.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!
