I want to change windows XP to Vista, but how ??without using cd

If you want to change Windows XP to Vista you should check out the different Vista versions that Microsoft offers, here is a link to the different versions of VIsta that you can get and the upgrade paths you need to take - You wont need the Windows XP installation disk to upgrade to Vista. Let me know if you need any more assistance.

It is possible to downgrade my OS vista to XP

First and foremost before you do, you need to check to see if drivers are available for your computer for windows xp. Or, if you are more adventurous, find the .inf files that go with your current drivers, find the hardware ID"s in them and then install drivers either directly from manufacturer of component, or download XP drivers from other models with same hardware ID's. It is possible, just make sure you do your research for the drivers first.

A quick search indicates that it has been done, but the HD audio is a bit tricky. Good luck!

Oh, and one more thing, please take a moment to rate this solution with a fixya rating. Thanks! :c)

Win vista uninstall

Put your window XP disk into the Disk drive. Start up your computer. When it asks you what Drive you want to install it on select C:\ (where Vista is) Say yes to deleting the current Operating System and follow the instructions from there.

You did say you wanted to Uninstall Vista!

If you mean Dual Boot Vista and XP, then you will need to create a Logical Partition of about 10 Gb to install XP on and when asked where to install select this partition. But note that XP will wipe the Boot sector clean of all other Operating Systems which means that if you want to Dual boot then you will have to reinstall Vista again to get Dual Boot functionality.

Windows XP drivers for Sony VAIO Laptop

There is no easy answer for this type of question, unfortunately. The best I can do is offer some advice. While installing XP is always possible, and most of the time preferred by the user, not all of the hardware will work every time with every computer. That's just a disclaimer. I think this thread may be useful to you:
