Question about Microsoft Outlook Express
I use outlook express for all my email and all of a sudden it starting to as for my password. When i type in the pasword nothing happens. This happened once before and i think that i was told that my IP address had gotten changed some how. need help fast. thank You
The first thing to check is the properties on your outlook
to check your IP address
right click on the start button
go to properties
go to the toolbars
check the address box
the address tool will show up on the bottom of your screen
scroll down and you will find your IP address
make sure it matches you outlook IP
you should be able to check your email from any computer
check you POP3 also
you can get that information from outlook support
the POP3 will look like (email@example.com) something like that
If you have any problems let me know
I use a different email server, but I can figure it out pretty quickly
