Question about Canon PIXMA iP1800 InkJet Photo Printer
I have tried reloadig driver software, installed genuine ink cartridges.
There are no amber lights flashing.
Can get the thing to print, but cannot use iP-tool.exe to reset ink levels w/o working ink monitor
The monitor stresses the need for compatible driver before ink monitor will function.
I downloaded and installed the recommended driver, but still no monitor.
Waste ink could be high but don't know how to clean and reset it.
Have you enabling ink status monitor? Find the resetter at indoreset.blogspot.com. For clening the waste ink u must open the case first. wash the waste ink pad.
