Question... are you inserting the card into the device before plugging it into a USB port, by chance?
I was having this same issue and was very frustrated... but I just fixed it myself by accident, lol. My computer was recognizing the red bridge all-in-one device but when I tried to open/explore it (or rather, the memory card(s) it contained), I was told "Please insert a disk into drive F:"
When I went to use the device for the first time, my common sense had told me that it might be a bad idea to go inserting/removing memory cards from the device while it was plugged into my computer, so whenever I tried to make the stupid thing work, I put the card(s) into the reader before plugging it in.
I can't seem to remember (even though it was < 5 minutes ago) what on earth prompted me to insert a card while the reader was plugged in even though I'd assumed I shouldn't... but yeah... my common sense was wrong all along *facepalm*.
As soon as I started waiting until *after* the device was plugged into a USB port before inserting a memory card into it, my computer immediately recognized the card(s).
