Problem for Whirlpool S20DRSS33 Side by Side Refrigerator

Replacement water filter cartridge indicator light flashing

After installing a replacement water filter cartridge, the indicator is supposed to show 99%. However, mine flashes 1% and no matter how many times I re-install the filter or switch the power off, it remains at 1%.

HOLD EITHER THE MENU OR OK BUTTON FOR BOUT 10 SECONDS, THIS RESETS IT!
