Question about Samsung Televison & Video
When i turn on my TV set, after 5 seconds it will turn off.. are there any part that need replacement... Can anybody help me please... thanks
If it is an LCD (not DLP), there is likely a problem in the power supply /and or inverter circuit that drives the ccfl backlights. It is sensing a problem and shutting down to prevent further damage. Bad electrolytic capacitors are a common fault. They usually bulge at the top and chemical leaks out. These degraded capacitors wil cause unstable operation, and shutdown. www.badcaps.net/forum is a great resource for information.
