Question about Televison & Video
Dvd says 'bad disc' - Conia DVD player, how can I fix?
I solved this on my CH-DVD 300. The laser slides in and out on two rails. It's supposed to be in the far inside position to load/read a DVD. If it's too far out of position it does not automatically return to the far inside position on startup or eject/load. I manually pushed the laser assembly to the far inside position and now my player is working perfectly again.
The laser was evidently jarred out of position by a mechanical shock, or perhaps the power failed while playing a DVD and left it out of position.

If it is a bad disc buy a new one or clean the lense
