If this problem is coming from a long time then it is the problem of ur area's network. Call ur service provider for the same. Might be the problem in a particular website.Try different sites.

REMOVE UNWANTED WORDS FROM PREDICTIVE TEXT Using this trick you can remove...

Using this trick you can remove sometimes irritating and unwanted words from predictive text. Open xplore or a similar file manager, go to c:\predic\ directory and delete the .dat file or edit it by transfering it to pc, opening it with notepad and editing.

In the new firmware on N95 v20 & v21 & also N95 8GB Nokia has removed the theme icons in the menu, but by using this trick, you will be able to see the theme icons.

To do this go to Menu-> Tools Folder-> Utilities Folder-> Device Manager.
Here you will see your firmware version and device updated. press D-Pad right button and you'll see no server profiles defined. Press options and select New server profile, and name the server 'name', server id, host adress and user name 'Themes'. Choose your password and leave everything as it is. exit (if it says profile not saved because you didin't do some configurations, try changing connection type to bluetooth) and press Options and start configurations without connection. then go to Menu-> Applcations and you'll see the themes icon!

I solved similar problem, Follow settings given below

Retrieving option: Subject only
Keep on server: ticked
My address:

Same as POP3/IMAP: untick

How to set up your hotmail account on samsung jet. i am on o2. it keeps telling me that i need an incoming server type (POP3 or IMAP4) an incoming server & outgoing server(SMTP) i assume that these are...

I have the following (and complete) list of settings on my Jet for my hotmail account and it is receiving and sending emails correctly. (After seeing 6 posts and none with a full solution, something needs to be done .. RAGE!!)
Account name - "random name" SMTP sever - SMTP port - 25 Secure Connection - TLS Incoming Server Type - POP3 POP3 Server - POP3 port - 995 APOP login - unchecked Secure connection - SSL Download limit - 50 IMAP4 incoming email - New (faded out tho) Retrieving option - Subject only Keep on server - checked My address - User name - Password - **my hotmail acc password** POP before SMTP - unchecked SMTP auth. - checked Same as POP3/IMAP4 - unchecked User name - Password - **my hotmail acc password**
Some tech info to help problem solve. POP3 is the technology involved with receiving email, SMTP is involved with sending. (Lots of people saying they could receive but not send, but their SMTP settings weren't correct)

Whats the problem when my phone says communication host not found

The phone is attempted to contact a Project Server and was unable to make the connection because the Host (server) was not found. The Host Name did get converted into an IP Address, but the Host itself could not be located. Often these messages are indicative of a temporary failure, particular if the host / device was functioning properly and no changes were made, at all, and the internet connection otherwise functions properly.

You may need to contact the phone carrier or the manufacturer for second opinion.

Have a great day!

Blackberry curve 8330's blocking mobile network

Sounds like you're in a dead zone. If not then ...

Check in the upper left corner... IF:

1x = you are not connected to any data at all - No emails, text, internet will work send/receive.

1xev= you're connected to data but not blackberry usually the same as above though sometimes you might get lucky and receive only text/pix messages.

1X= Phone calls only. Usually no data (email, text, web, etc)

1XEV = everything is connected and you should be working fine.

If you have 1XEV (upper case and lower case matter ALOT...everything should always be UPPERCASE) and you're still having that problem then go to:

options> advanced options> host routing table

In the host routing table click the button to the left of the roll ball (called the blackberry button) and click on "Register now" and just leave the phone alone for a minute so it can register all your service books again. Then try the web again.

If all else fails pullthe battery and try again ..> Still no good? Call your carrier.

Hope this helps
