but as an advice change the securty sytem on the router , set it up for psk2 whit a shared key...easy to remember...
Your wireless network must be secured You will need to check the wireless settings of the router. Is there any computer online using the router. check the IP address on that computer. If yes then you can open the router set up page on that computer. router set up page is the page where you can check all the router settings. Click Here for more information about the routers and network
I am not familliar with this brand. It is always good advice to remove the device and drivers ... and try a second time. Make sure you follow manufacturers directions EXACTLY and that you have the latest drivers.
Is it possible that you have a USB 1 computer and a USB 2 (or 3) device?
did you plug in the adapter before you installed the driver . best thing to do is uninstall and reinstall. as well as that ralink wireless lan card is not what you bought it should say intellinet when installed properly. reinstall thats my advice
