Question about Avaya Definity 6408D Corded Phone
I have recently have clients moved desk is there a way I can change their extensions from their handset without repatching them in the comms room?
For above answer Please check with the following commands
1. TTI should be enabled in your system
Please check with the following command
display system-parameters features Page 3
Terminal Translation Initialization (TTI) Enabled? y -- should be set to 'y'
2.display feature-access-codes Page 4
Terminal Translation Initialization Merge Code:
needs to set the above TTI codes by using change commands.
Then only u can use above method to change their extensions from their handset

From the phone dial #66xxx (where xxx is the extension) to turn off that phone.
Then dial *66xxx (with the correct extension) to turn on that phone.
