Question about Televison & Video
I have a 56" samsung dlp that is a little over two years old. I had a tech replace the light tunnel three weeks ago for a shading problem and has worked great for three weeks until today when I turned it on it was making a terrible click noise and the picture would flicker from good to a dark contrast back and forth. After some time it would settle down but then everytime the you change the channel the picture on the channel you are on would get lighter of darker the clicking and contrast variations would start again. Any Ideas?
Hi, sounds like you`ll need that tech again, your description sounds like a bad color wheel, if you let it continue and it shatters it can & probably will destroy your light tunnell, sorry for the bad news but now you know not to keep running the set, this is a very common problem with dlp`s and it`s exactly why we tell our customers not to purchase dlp`s, gl, video-tek
