Problem for NEC SuperScript 1400 Laser Printer
Printer prints dark middle stripe on every page?
Suddenly, the printer print dark middle stripe on every page. I opened up the printer and touched around inside, i saw black ink concentrated in the middle of the print base. How can I get rid of this problem?

- My printer only prints a dark stripe on the page. It will print page after page like this even if the print job was only one page. I have to turn it off to get it to stop. I don't see any paper jams and the cartridge is in its proper place.- dr sharonNov 26, 2007

remove the cartidge and replace with a new one,
clean the rubber roller and check all drivers are installed correctly or that you have the most uptodate versions.
if this doesnt help solve it, you could invest in a printer repair kit specified for your printer usually found in p.c shops..
if all else fails call up the company.
