No, that's a GSM phone, and sprint/nextel is not a GSM service, sorry. sprint is their own version of PCS, and nextel uses this strange beast called "iden", though I believe it's being phased out now that sprint gobbled them up.
in the US, the primary GSM carriers are Tmobile and ATT.
