Question about LG E500 Express Dual Series Notebook PC
When i try to run my webcam the webcam screen opens as usual and shows an LG logo and says "There is no available captured device". I have tried correcting in the device manager (it's not showing), downloaded new updated drivers (still not working), restoring the default values from the BIOs etc. Nothing is helping. The laptop is still under warranty so before I do anything too drastic (i.e. reformatting) I will call LG, but if anyone has any suggestions....HELP! also fn+F10 has no affect as I have no webcam icon and cannot find the webcam on the system anywhere Same problem here...
I know this sounds a bit obscure but try following these excact steps.
shut down the computer.
remove battery and ac
turn on computer and imediatly press F2 several times to access BIOS.
go furthest right in the menu and choose to "set default valuse"
save and exit.
boot up computer completly
shut it down again
try the YouCam software wich should now activate the camera and make the led light up orange.
(i actually had a computer of the same kind you have for the same problem yesterday, and i found this solution wich worked here on fixya)
