Question about Mitsubishi WS-55859 55" Rear Projection Television
Hi. We had a storm last night and my tv/dvd player/dvr/audio all went out for a moment. When I tried to turn them on later, some of the components won't work, namely the TV and DVD player. I unplugged the surge protector for a while then plugged back and when I did the TV appeared to turn on. The green "on" light lit up but just for a few seconds and fades away. The DVD player is doing NOTHING. Any help would be great! Thanks!
Ok lets try this hit the power button on the DVD player some go into stand by mode and when power is interrupted you have to push the button manually also reset the surge protector next get a lamp that you know works and unplug the tv and plug the lamp into the socket where the TV was plugged into turn on the lamp, does it turn on? yes then something wrong with TV again may have been in stand by mode plug back in and try pushing the power switch on make sure the TV if it has a remote is on the right im put to get a picture say like a satellite or cable or DVD player. hope this helps.
