The television was playing well and went off by itself and now will not come back on.

Dish network was connected to my TV and now for some reason I cannot use my remote or even hook up a DVD player to it. It worked before Dish Network and now nothing. I also cannot change the channel using the buttons on the TV itself, but the remote for Dish Network works to change the channel to some channels.

It's time for a shop visit on this one. The number of flashes will tell the trouble code for the service tech...accordianman

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Probably not. RCA parts for this model are very difficult to find. Even you could find a kit, it will not have enough to repair. A do it yourselfer or TV tech will have a difficult time repairing this. Please shop for a new TV. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support!

The set tries 3 times to come on (3 blinks) if there a problem such as a short, it will cycle without turning on. Unfortunately your set is notorious for having bad flyback transformers. Most likely the horizontal output transistor is shorted as well. Common causes for your symptom are: LL05 (horiz out transformer) RCA part# 257805; TL 02 ( horiz output transistor) 2SC5148; and open connections on the printed circuit board at LL 04 and L14401 (coils) all of which can cause the horizontal output transistor to be shorted.

Unless you are savvy with IC's you are going to have to go to the repair shop my friend. The crappy part is that the IC has a price tag of about $10.00 but a repair shop is going to nail you anywhere from $80.00-$120.00. Sorry for the bad news but it happens.
