Question about Kirby Ultimate G Bagged Upright Vacuum
I used my kirby with the head attachment, two minutes later used it with the hose attachment and then went back to the normal head attachment and it won't turn on. Tried the hose attachement again and it turned on. I have no idea what is going on, but it makes a funny noise with the hose attachment and sounded fine with the head on.
Front of the unit, black switch that is pressed by this plastic protrusion from hose coupling has two parts. It is because ANY generation Kirby has speeds - HIGH for vacuuming with hose and LOW for using it with nozzle.
Looks like the switch went bad (Switch HERE)
We have instructions for replacing it too.
The "funny noise" with hose throws me off a bit though. Check if there is nothing in the hose (put a nickle through it).
