Question about Compaq Computers & Internet
Finding the mb # and rev?? My MB says Processor Board Designed by Compaq Houston, TX The only number I can find on the board is very small.... G1I2N3A4 and under the processor mount is: SP# 283983-001 DG# 261982-000 AS# 261981-001 P58B40R9VO9B2N rev - 0R Compaq 2001-2002
There is a small, free utility that will check your motherboard, cpu, and memory and will list all details on tabbed pages.
I have tried this utility on a Compaq ENS 800, and it does show the motherboard model and number.
Maybe the utility CPU-Z from CPUID will help you find the numbers you want.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
