Hi, I can help you through this. Please get me a model # so I can look this up and advise you further. The problem sounds like a plugged drain. We just need to locate it.

Thanks
Vic

Have you checked the back outside wall and see if the drain hose is fastened there?

You will need to remove the rear panel in the freezer section. The drain hole is located below the evaporator coils. If there is ice in the drain, use a hair dryer and tmelt it. Make sure all the ice is gone. Try and flush the drain hole out with hot water once the ice is gone.

Now, if there is no ice ib the drain, you will need to remove the air duct inside the fresh food section and see if you can locate the drain hole.

    I hope this helps.

    Please let me know

Three screws to remove the ice maker. Disconnect the electric connector. Push it through the hole before taking off the rear panel in back of the freezer compartment. There's a green ground wire that stays behind the panel that will come off if you don't. 2 screws to remove the rear panel. Look at all that ice! The drain hole is on the right side. You'll hear water hit the drip pan when it's cleaned out. Piece o' cake!

check the ice door flap where ice drops into a glass.sometimes the flap doesn't close completely and allows heat to enter threw the flap.this causes frost to build and melt thus you have water you can't explain. hope this helps.

Condensation water build up inside refrigerator

The tray underneath your fridge is probably clogged, and overflowing. There is an evap tray underneath, and if it does not get adequate airflow, it will overflow, and leak out.

Clean the bottom front vents, and underneath the fridge to ensure adequate airflow.

Water comes off somewhere in the bottom of my fridge. what could have caused it?

When your refrig goes into defrost , the water runs down the back of the refrig ( inside ) and out to the drip pan thru a drain hole under the crispers . If water is under the crispers , remove the crispers and you should see a " cap " covering the drain hole . Sometimes crud will cover the slots where the water is supposed to drain , causing water to pool under the crispers . Just remove this cap , clean , and reinstall .

I have had the same problem. In my case, its the little water tank behind the left crisper. The tank has cracked (twice now) which means replacement (again). The water leakage gets so bad that it leaks into the freezer causing ice up problems in the rear.

Bottom of fridge collects water

Hello there:
I have written a few steps for you to follow and try ok?
  1. Manufacturers have different ways to dispose of the water created during automatic defrost cycles. The most common design routes the water down a rubber tube on the back of the fridge to a tray beneath. This tube often gets plugged with breadcrumbs, peas etc. and can generally easily be removed and cleaned.
  2. Make sure the end of the hose is sitting in the defrost tray.
  3. If your hose was not plugged and you have found water running down the back wall inside the fridge or a pool under the bottom crisper has formed. Check if there is a small funnel located on the back wall near the top inside the fridge. It can also get plugged; you can use a small wire and work it in and out of the hole.
  4. Some designs do run the water down the back wall and have a drain hole under the crisper, make sure it is not plugged.
I hope that this has been verry helpfull for you
best regards michael
