Could you give us more details, please? Does the PC starts and what happening after you press the power button? Can you hear the fan works? When the problem started and what was changed before the problem occoured? Have you checked the conection between PC and the monitor itself?

I am trying to connect a computer to my tv, this model, but when I do I get the sound from the computer but only the screen background from the computer. Not the streaming event.

OK what that sounds like is that the computer is displaying dual screens - is this a notebook computer with its own screen? If so you may see the live action on the other screen and by default the 2nd screen will show the desktop wallpaper. If you want you could drag the windows over to the other screen simply by clicking with your mouse and dragging the content over. If you only want the TV then you need to go into the display settings and change the TV to be your primary monitor.

Right click on your desktop and select screen resolution, then from the display menu choose your TV, then from multiple displays menu choose - show Desktop only on 1 - and your TV should then be the primary display.

Display are not showing cleanless

Try connecting an external monitor to the computer and see if it displays better. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the computer. If the Borrowed monitor displays ok, then your video card inside the computer is good, but your lcd screen is bad. If the Borrowed monitor displays the same way with problems, then your video card inside the computer is bad.

Shine a flashlight on the dark screen to see if you barely see the icons on the desktop. If so, then the LCD Inverter is bad.

Plug in an external monitor and see if the display shows up on it. It can be any kind of monitor even the old big fat crt monitors as long as it has a vga cable to connect to your computer's vga port. If the video shows on the external monitor that proves your video card is ok, ,but your lcd screen is bad. The video will show on most systems when you reboot without you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hit the FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit the correct key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct key will normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

If you see no icons by shinning a flash light and the external monitor works, then your screen is bad. If you see no icons by shinning the flash light and nothing shows on the external monitor, then most likely your video card is bad.

Reasons of y signals not going to the monitor

Is the monitor showing a blank screen or is it showing the message NO SIGNAL??

If you have a Desktop try the steps below:
If it is showing the message NO SIGNAL, then the video card in the computer is bad, because when the monitor is bad, it will show nothing at all. To isolate the problem plug another monitor on the computer and see if it displays. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the computer. If the Borrowed monitor displays ok, then your original Monitor is bad. If the Borrowed monitor displays the same as your original, then the video card in the computer is bad.

If it is a laptop try the steps below:

6349 cannot display

Try another monitor on the desktop. You problem is either the monitor or the video card. Borrow a monitor from a neighbor, friend, relative or co-worker and connect it to the desktop. If the borrowed monitor shows the display and works ok, then your original monitor is bad. If the borrowed monitor does not show the display just like your original monitor did not show a display, then the Video Card in the computer is bad.

LCD Computer monitor

This problem may occur due to wrong driver of display card or wrong display settings.
1- Start you computer in safe mode.
2- Remove display card driver.
3- Restart you computer.
4- Install display card driver (if it does not pick automatically).

Now it should show default settings. I hope it would solve your problem.

DSC-N1 display different when downloading photos

You say 'When I attempted to download photos to my computer, it doesn't show the display USB Connecting or the Cancel button. All it shows is a big dot in the middle with four directional buttons.' Not sure where this shows. Does the camera still take picture and upload them OK? Come back
