How to install side view mirrow

You can blame it on your significant other, blame it on the kids or blame it on someone hitting it in the crowded parking lot. Whatever the reason, the side view mirror on your car is broken, missing or hanging by a thread. It's not that hard to replace. With a few common household tools, you can replace it yourself in less than 30 minutes. Forget the body shop or service station; they're going to charge you more in labor than you paid for the part online.

How to Install Side View Mirrors
1.Open the door wide and roll the window all the way down so you don't damage it.
2.Locate the plastic molding on the opposite side of the rear view mirror at the very front corner of the door's window. It'll probably be black plastic triangular-shaped molding, but it may have the same hue as the interior of the vehicle.
3.Gently but firmly pry that triangular molding off with the screwdriver. It's only snapped into place and there's usually a small ridge or lip that seats down into the window cavity. This ridge/lip should be no more than a quarter of an inch into the cavity. Pry it from a couple of spots until it comes free.
4.Locate the wire harness and unplug the mirror if it is an electric-powered mirror.5.Locate the three nuts inside the cavity of the door. There may be some foam plugs or insulation you'll need to move out of the way, but you can replace them after you install the new mirror.
6.Remove the nuts with the ratchet, extension and appropriate-sized socket. Be careful not to drop them into the door cavity.
7.Remove the old mirror and install the new one.
8.Tighten all three nuts. Plug the mirror into the harness if it is a powered one and test it before you close everything upThank you for using FixYa hope this will help your problem and don't forgetto rate me.thanks,Josefina

Fan WORKS FINE but has lots of dust and mold inside that needs to be removed, and I've taken the screws out, all except the one near the base, located right above the LABEL. This screw, a Philips head,...

there had to be reason the Fan was not to be disassembled .... yes you will need to buy a new unit... MOLD as you is bad thing. If you're allergic to Mold. you be hard pressed to disinfect the whole unit. for sure you will miss some of the Mold. It will come back.. The Mold is due to too much moisture/ Humidity. on top of getting new Fan unit you will need to get Dehumidifier, to remove the moisture in the room...
If dust collects in the new fan. at least you will able to clean out the dust.... if some of the screws look like a star and not a phillips, you can find 1 at hardware store. take a picture of it with your phone. show it the hardware girl or guy. they will be able show what you need to Disassembling the Fan. good luck shopping list
1. Dehumidifier
2. new fan
3. take a picture of not normal screw, when you need to disassembling fan gain.

Brand new toy came without instructions. Please send them for the "made by me!" trademark Power Balls. This is a create your own new product. THANK YOU!!!

The instructions are fairly simple.

1. First, gather your materials. In addition to the kit, you will need a glass (large enough to submerge the assembled mold), water, and a timer.

2. Choose the colors for your ball. Any combination of colors from a single color to several different colors, mixed together, layered, or whatever you can imagine.

3. Assemble the ball mold. The molds come in just two pieces each that snap together easily.

4. Pour the crystals into the mold (make sure they are packed down to insure there are not air bubbles), according to your color design plan. Fill up the mold to complete the proper shape of the ball.

5. Place the filled mold into the glass and fill with water to the top of the ball mold (allow a small amount of water to flow into the top of the mold). Let sit for 5 to 10 minutes.

6. Remove the mold from the water, carefully remove the mold from the ball, and allow to dry.

Tip: A submerging time of 5 minutes is not long enough for most molds; to ensure all the crystals are thoughly wet and a strong ball is formed, 10 minutes is optimal.

Icemaker is not getting any water

It is either going to be the ice maker or the water valve. First make sure you ain't got an ice cube jammed in the ice mold. If you do then use a hair dryer to melt that fouled ice cube. The ice maker uses a logarithmic program which constantly measure resistance to the mold. It adds the water add needed. When the resistance in the ice mold changes to the point ice has been determined in the mold the program will initiate a harvest cycle. The heater will come on and the motor will push the ice out. With the mold empty the resistance changes. Water is introduced till the resistance for fill is met. This means it will continue to try till it gets enough water to satisfy the program. If it was me I would replace the valve first. That might fix it. If it does not fix it then when you replace the IM you will have a complete new ice making capability.

Fungues? What does it look like

jrasis,

Take the lens off and look through the finder. is the mold still there? if it's not then it's in the lens. look through the lens and you will see the mold. it's usually between the lens elements and depending on the kind of mold it can be very hard to remove.
take or send your lens to a camera repair shop for an estimate before having it disassembled and cleaned.
