How can I check thermostste on GE P7 before buying new one

wow much to high to pay? it can be checked for continuity with an ohm meter. u can buy cheap meters for like 5 bucks or so. are u sure their trying to charge them much for a thermostat? maybe they thought u meant something else? if its getting way to hot u have a bad oven sensor? it to can be checked with a meter. When ur thermostat goes out due to overheating , the oven will not operate. thermal thermostats are not resettable. oven sensor is located near the back along the wall it thin and may have a glass look?

I am installing honywell thermostat rth111/rth221 old thermostat has two wires that are yellow and need to know where to hook up

First things first. What type of system? Heat only, boiler or furnace? Central cooling.
Do NOT take wires off the old thermostat yet, or mark the color wire, to the terminal letter. Most times W,Y,G,R, terminals and maybe even a C terminal.

Your new thermostat should have the same letters. Sometimes they mix up color wire with terminal letters...... example (yellow wire to w terminal)
Also turn off power to equipment it is controlling. It is not high volts but you can short out the transformer. Hook uo wire color to same letter terminal on old stat, to new stat. Thats it.

I need a diagram to replace the thermostat

I seriously doubt if you will find the diagram that you are asking for. The thermostat is very easy on most vehicles. Simply follow the upper radiator hose to where it connects to the engine. This would be the thermostat housing. The thermostat hosing is held on by 2 bolts. Remove the 2 bolts and remove the thermostat housing. The thermostat will be under the housing. Pull the old thermostst out and clean the gasket surfaces on both the engine and the thermostat housing. install the new thermostat and thermostat housing gasket and reinstall ithe thermostat and bolts. On some of the Dodge vehicles it is necessary to remove the alternator and/or power steering pump/ A/C compressor brackets to access the thermostat housing bolts.

Our 6 year old GE Fridge stopped making cold air. The fan and blower system still works, but it is just recirculating the air, not cooling it. Any ideas what that might be?

its likley to be the thermostat that stoped switching the compressor on and off if the compressor is not working there is no cold gas to cool the air try moving the thermostst up to full cold and see if that turns it on,,if it dont then fit a new thermostst first as its the cheapest part to replace

Looking for kelvinator n500t wiring diagram

My Kelviator fridge was freezing things solid, I was told that the thermostat needed replacement as we have no electrician availiable, I bought a new thermostat. I removed the two screw holding the thermostst/light control, took off the cover then made a diagram of the thermostat wiring. After I removed the old thermostat the light control sprung out of its position and I can't see where it should go. Can I obtain a picture of this.
