My washing machine is leaving powder/liquid all over the clothes

Simpson Esprit 450 is leaving washing powder/liquid all over the clothes. We have cleaned it a number of times, changed the water levels and the water temperatures and tried different brands and nothing works. The clothes come out covered in powder or liquid depending what was used in machine.

I suspect the problem lies with the sequential timer control switch.
It is probably missing out on one of the programmed switched cycles.
A replacement switch is the cure. Can be done by handyman, but make sure you take a photo or drawing of where all the wires connect.

My washing machine does a load but there is clumps of washing powder left on the clothes

Most likley a combination of cheaply made soap, and wadded clothing. Not to mention the fact you should put the soap in first, let it desolve, then add the clothing in in a circular mannor. Not balls. Try this. If all else fails, use gain. its cheap, liquid, and smells great.

Smelly washing machine and washed clothes

This is usually because of a bacteria build up on the machine. Suggested actions: Remove and thoroughly clean the soap tray. Remove the waste pipe from the drain pipe you have it poked into and ensure that all is clean and emptied. If your machine has a filter (Usually behind a 4 inch square door on the front towards the bottom of the machine if one is fitted - this depends on the machine and I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with your madel). Finally, take 2 or 3 DISHWASHER TABLETS put them in the machine's drum and wash at the highest temperature that your machine will allow. Modern biological washing powder uses bacteria to break down and "eat" stains. Bacteria creates unpleasant odours. Dish Washer tablets and powder is designed to kill bacteria. Hope this helps

Simpson Esprit 750 washing machine timer?

Hi! My Simpson Esprit 750 washing machine won't click over to the next stage in the cycle. All of the stages work if you turn the dial manually so I am wondering if it may be the timer that needs replacing? I can't hear it in operation. Thanks.
