One of the usual problems with Ford products is the Inertia switch. It has a reset button and is made to cut power to your fuel pump in case of a wreck. A bump, jarring motion will falsely trip this switch. Closing a door or cargo lid can occasionally create the right frequency to do just that.

You have a switch that has several locations listed. You can try under the dash to the right of the transmission hump. Another potential location is the Drivers lower rear cargo area, close to the Air-ride switch. A third place is the front kick panel area.

I would advise looking up this part under your Year and Model and get pictures of what you are looking for. Cannot say why many locations are listed. You will see when you read the search results.

2003 lexus es300 won't start... radio lights and windows work. Tried a jump start, still doesnt work...

Are you saying the engine cranks but won't start, or the engine won't crank ?
If the engine does not crank, you would check for voltage at the starter, the neutral safety switch, and the key switch as well as the ground connections.

Done cars have a kill switch if they are low on oil. Check your oil. If the oil is good, it may be the ignition switch.
