Go into Printer tools (look in the Print dialog box to find it in a drop down menu or a button in the window.) There should be a set of instructions or a Wizard to take you through the process. It is not difficult.

You may be need to buy a new color cart., becuase the allignment page depend on the Yellow color when it become to scan..
or you can pring any allignment page from a friend and put it in the scanner instead that one you printed out....

Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

click start start botton go to settings click printer and faxes and right click to your printer cannon mx310 go to properties click maintenance
