Most CD/DVD players have a tiny hole somewhere near the release button. If you straighten a paper clip and poke it through the hole, it should release the tray and you get the disk out. I doubt you can fix the release button, but someone here may know.

Emerson ms3105 won't play cd's wont even spin

kungfuz...I have had two of these emerson cd players. One is in my home and is still working after 3 1/2 years. The other was purchased for our church just over a year ago and it has stopped working. The disks will turn a little then stop. Occasionally it will still play a complete hymn but this is rare. Also a grinding sound can be heard with the ear close to the unit. I think when you pushed the combo of buttons and it stopped working, this is likely just a fluke and it was probably going bad anyway. I may be wrong but I have been down this road myself and your problem sounds very similar to mine. I can't offer you much encouragement...sorry...!

How do i turn on the cdplayer? and remove the cd

More information please. If this is an internal CD drive in a PC, you typcially will power on the pc and hit the eject button on the face of the drive.

Also, if your running Windows, and the CD is seen under My Computer (if XP) or Computer (Vista & Win7), you can right click on the drive and select Eject.

I have a jammed cd in the stock cdplayer in my

You can pry open the door, the pull back open as far as it will go, remove cd, press eject button and see if the system corrects itself. If not, you probably have a faulty capacitor in the unit.

Car radio/cd player cuts off radio will not play cd will not play ,hit the power button and will come back on some times it wil not. its seems like there is static sound when the music does not play on the...

Hello pinkperry,

It sounds like the wiring between the cdplayer and the dash has come loose. When the wires are not making proper connections some of the speakers or functions of the radio cut on and off.

This is just my first thought and the easiest thing to fix. You will have to remove the cd player from the dash. After which you will want to check the wiring. Chances are your cd player has a harness if it's an aftermarket cd player installed in your car. If it does there will be two sets of wires to double check.

Just make sure all the wires are securely twisted together (the sets of wires) and taped up with electrical tape.

Try that and post back if you have any further questions. Thank you for choosing Fixya!

Wii console will not eject disk

I managed to eject a WII disc out manually very easily:
- Disconnect the drive
- You see the white plastic mechanism on your right side and the wheel connected to the motor
- turn the wheel towards the back side of the drive while pushing the half inch square plastic piece towards the left.
You will see the disc coming out while you are turning the wheel.

Ate my CD

looks like the tray is offline so basiclly its not reading the first disc because its far away from the eye so by putting another disc in and it reads it because the eye is close enough to read it .  u may have to open the player up to get the first disc out.  good luck.
