Question about Dynamode RADSLC4WG Wireless Router (r-adsl-c4wg)
I have a new Dynamode RADSL C4 W G1 router, i have been trying to st it up to work with AOL. When i connected it to my laptop, win xp tells me that it has limited connectivity. The default access 10.0.0.2 doesnt work. When doing an ipconfig on cmd, it doesnt give me a default gateway ip instead im given loads of letters and numbers. Please help. i have tried everything i know.
If you type in http://10.0.0.2 to the adress line on your web browser, you should see a login window for the router. I think it is the wrong address. I think you should first RESET the router. Look for a little hole about the size of a pencil point. Stick a paperclip in and hold it in for about 1 minute. This should reset the router to factory settings.
If you have the manual, it should tell you how to access its setup pages. This is a modem and router in one. You must have an ADSL phone connection to an ISP. You must have the ISP's information to connect to their network. This information is needed to set the modem part of the router to log onto the internet through the ISP. Best of luck.
